Detailed Description

Fold it as a neckerchief, wear it as a headscarf or hair scarf, or tie it onto a handbag for an added accent. The pattern adds a distinctive finishing touch to simple outfits without feeling overworked.

Mulberry silk is a long-filament fibre, which is what gives this scarf its even surface and fluid fall. It holds a knot without creasing hard, and it releases most fold marks after a short rest on a hanger. The fibre is breathable, so the scarf works across seasons: light enough for warm days, and warm enough at the neck when the temperature drops.

The square format folds on the diagonal for a neat neckerchief, rolls into a narrow band for a headscarf or bag handle, and opens flat when you want the whole print on show.

Q&A

Is this real silk?

Yes. It is made from 100% mulberry silk, the long-filament silk used for fine scarves, not a polyester satin imitation.

What size is it?

It measures 26 x 26 in (66 x 66 cm). The measurement is taken flat, edge to edge, before knotting.

How do I stop it slipping out of a knot?

Silk is smooth by nature. A double knot, or tucking the tail under the first loop, holds all day without damaging the fibre.

Will the print fade?

Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight and away from bleach or alcohol-based sprays such as perfume, and the colour stays even.
