The Library - Malty Black Tea

Tastes Like: buttered toast, brown bread, almond Feels Like: morning in the library

Picture the dark wooden walls of a library lined with rows of books, like the iconic Long Room of Trinity College in Dublin. There is a seductive atmosphere that is both austere and comforting. The bready aroma of this organic black tea is complemented by the unique nuttiness of caraway. This high grade black Assam tea has a velvety mouthfeel and rich flavor. Hints of cocoa and sweet almond aromas enliven the mix, like the occasional contemporary novel whose glossy cover pops against the worn literary classics. A drop of milk tips the flavor towards a smooth creamy stout. Like sinking into a stately club chair to ponder the pages between your hands, this tea invites reflection. This makes a rich breakfast tea, and a great afternoon tea with shortbread or cherry scones.
