How to install the Shopify app

The PPToGo Shopify app pulls your products in, drops a tracking pixel on your storefront, and posts conversions back to attribute commissions. Install takes about 3 minutes.
Before you start
Make sure you're a Shopify Plus or Basic+ store admin. Staff accounts without 'Apps' permission can't install apps.
Have your business legal name + EIN/tax ID handy for the merchant onboarding step.
Step-by-step install
1. From your PPToGo merchant dashboard, click Install Shopify app. You'll be redirected to your Shopify admin.
2. Approve the requested scopes (read_products, read_orders, write_pixel_events). We need read_orders to attribute conversions and write_pixel_events to drop the tracking pixel.
3. After approval, Shopify sends you back to PPToGo. We immediately start a one-time products sync — this can take 30 seconds to 2 minutes depending on catalog size.
4. Once sync completes, your products appear under /dashboard/merchant/products and become available for creator promotion.
What happens after install
Every order placed via a PPToGo tracking link will fire a Shopify webhook to us; we attribute it to the creator and mark a conversion as 'held'.
You'll be invoiced monthly for the commission accrued across all creators. The invoice itemises commission + platform fee.
You can uninstall any time from your Shopify admin — we'll stop processing webhooks but conversions already in flight will still pay out per the existing terms.
